BOARD OF DIRECTORS

ERIN BALL

ERIN@THEBESTILLPROJECT.ORG

Erin is the founder of The Be Still Project, Incorporated. Built in honor of her younger brother and guardian angel, Brett “TJ” Tjaden, Erin knew the second she lost him that her entire life’s purpose had shifted. Everything she will do from here on out will be to help others like him, and to make him proud.

To Erin, “be still” means everything. A shared message (and matching tattoo) with her brother, the pair used the words as a promise that they would never be alone. The words mean more now than ever before and are the inspiration behind the business name and logo.

Erin works in Milwaukee, WI as the Operations Manager for a local property management company. She sits on the Board of Directors with Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, another non-profit held close to her heart. She lives in Waukesha, WI with her husband, Paul, and Golden Retrievers, Penny and Sophia.

MEGHAN MAJORS

MEGHAN@THEBESTILLPROJECT.ORG

Meghan is the co-founder of The Be Still Project, Incorporated, and the oldest sister to Brett “TJ” Tjaden; the heart of it all. When TJ was born, Meghan’s purpose in life clearly became, caring for others; a trait she later shared with him. His passing has fueled her purpose and helped give life to The Be Still Project.

To Meghan, “be still” has always been the highest promise from above; a promise that provides refuge, peace and strength. After the passing of her baby brother, Meghan has found more peace than ever in that promise, believing that he is experiencing ultimate healing stillness; something he never experienced on earth. She believes deeply, that with the help of others, we can all experience what it means to “be still”.

Meghan is a Federal Employee in Nashville Tennessee, with 5 plus years of faithful federal service. She is an Army Combat-Veteran with eight years of dedicated service. Meghan lives in Tennessee with her husband Brian and their four children.

LIZA OLSON

LIZA@THEBESTILLPROJECT.ORG

Liza is the co-founder of The Be Still Project, Incorporated, and was the last love that Brett “TJ” Tjaden had on earth.

After several years with Brett and now being forced to navigate a world without her other half, Liza knows that her purpose in life is to help people just like him – those who have great potential, are so loved, but just can’t find their place here on earth. She intends to do everything going forward in memory of him, with an emphasis on fighting the stigma placed on people who are trying their hardest every day despite the battle going on in their mind. She will do all of this with him safely tucked in her heart.

Liza works as a Leasing Professional in Wauwatosa, WI and lives in Waukesha, WI with her cat, Kitty. In her spare time, she enjoys a good reality TV show, writing, and spending a day on the lake.
